THE BIBLE: GODS PLAN FOR MANKIND

A micro look

God promised the descendants of Abraham they would become a great nation, and a great company of nations. Jacob whose name was changed to Israel was the Grandson of Abraham. He claimed the promise by faith, trust and perseverance. He had twelve sons who became the twelve tribes of Israel. God had a marriage relationship with Israel (the twelve tribes), who would be provided for and blessed if they looked only to the one true God, their husband. They were unfaithful, worshipping false gods, goddesses, and idols much like religion today, so God divorced them. The fulfilment of a great company of nations never occurred. The only way to annul the divorce, so the blessing of God could be restored, was by the death of the husband. Jesus as the husband died for the nation, (Israel), and for the sins of all individuals inside and outside of Israel. After the resurrection there was a remarriage. Then people started to get born again from all nations (the children were born after the marriage). God took the entire heritage of Israel, (his wife) through the nations and established them in England (the birth place of democracy as we know it). Democracy and the rule of law based on Bible principles, has positively affected the whole world. Allowing freedom of religion and making the Bible freely available to people so they can be born again. The promise of a great nation (USA), and great company of nations (commonwealth), was fulfilled. The last days, being now, the wife (the nations), is being defiled by false religion and unbelief, the children (those born again) are mocked, and the wrath of the husband, who is also the father, is soon to erupt.

Key Bible verses for this study: Acts 2 verse 38 to become children you have to repent, be baptised and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Gods people Israel with all other people who don’t repent, will be judged according to their works. God's children who have repented are called to walk in the Spirit, so they can be saved by grace. They are not judged according to their works. They judge themselves in the present according to the Bible. These children (the body of Christ) are promised eternal life. The Bride, His people will be judged.
